Grouting – Resin Anchors
Key Features
The introduction of a water based catalyst in addition to oil based catalyst anchors has provided several key advantages for installed resin bolts. These features included improved mixing quality, encapsulation, consistency and a reduction in formulation cost. The resin anchors are available in the same diameters, lengths and speeds as the FASLOC® oil based catalyst range.
The FASLOC® water based range incorporates the following features compared to oil based resin:
- Lower mastic:catalyst ratio – improving mixing quality and consistency.
- Improved rheology – easier push through and improved encapsulation.
- Larger catalyst compartment – improved catalyst compartment mixing and reduced bolt miss.
- More cost effective.
