The EziTen cable bolt is a mechanically tensioned 21.8mm intented cable bolt. Utilising the 3rd generation DSI Strand Locker thread tensioning system, pre-tension of a 21.8mm cable bolt is achieved with a aregular bolting machine (no special hydraulictensioner required). Pre-tension is a result of the torque applied by the tensioning dolly onto the nut with cable torsion eliminated through an internal thrustbearing. A chart of the typical torque / tension results is given by overleaf. The bolt is pre-assembled and shipped ready to install with a compatible dome plate.

The EziTen bolt is an evolution of the DSI Underground Hi-Ten cable bolt. By utilising a DSI Strand Locker we combine a barrel and wedge support 21.8mm cable with a thread tensioning system. Pretension of the cable is available with a regular bolting machine (no special hydraulic tensioner required). The pre-tension is a result of the torque applied by the tensioning dolly onto the large nut, a chart of potential results is goven overleaf. The strand locker unit is pre-tensioned to the cable bolt at DSI and shipped ready to install with a compatible dome plate.

Barrel and Wedge Anchors are used to secure roof plates on DSI Underground cable bolts. They provide positive support to the rock face at the collar of the hole.

Manufactured from stress relieved, low relaxation, high strength 15.2mm diameter 7 wire steel strand, the cable bolt is formed by bulbing the strand into small cages, typically 26 - 28mm diameter, and at 6 bulbs per metre.

Plain cable bolts are manufactured from stress relieved, low relaxation, high strength 15.2mm diameter 7 wire steel strand and are commonly used as long tendons in strata reinforcement.

28mm Hollow Cable with grout tube centre

The Titan Bolt – a 28mm High Tension Hollow Cable is a hollow flexible cable bolt for top down grouting combined with in cycle resin cartridge point anchoring. The cable is compatible with a barrel and wedge anchoring system for pre-tensioning. Using a grouting lance grout can be pumped directly through the centre tube in the cable to exit near the top of the cable. There are bulbs continuously down the length for resin and grout anchoring.
